Our dog manager and trainer has had vast experience in scent training dogs for detection work, ensuring our dogs are trained to only identify mature truffles.

The Truffle Farm of Truffles of Tasmania is situated under the great Western Tiers mountain range with year round fresh clean air and regular snow falls in winter harvest period. It was here where Australia’s first Black Truffle was grown in 1999.
Most of the plantations are from two years old up to 10 years old and all truffles are harvested under English oaks or the evergreen variety Quercus ilex by the farm's well trained team of Truffle dogs.
